ACC Israel Annual Conference

It was a great pleasure to cooperate once again with ACC Israel, Association of Corporate Counsel, at their annual conference. Shirel Guttman-Amira, our Head of Corporate, Securities & Capital markets department, spoke at the conference and provided an insightful look at the legal counsel’s power to significantly reduce the exposures for directors and officers of the company, without limiting the business flexibility of the company and its management. Shirel emphasized the ability of the legal counsel to implement proper corporate governance, ensure awareness among the directors and lead the adoption of control and supervision mechanisms. The Minister of Justice and Attorney General also participated in the annual conference and addressed some of the recent turmoil in the media.
