With over 26 years of hands-on legal experience, Sharon has played a leading role in many of Israel’s largest and most challenging projects constructed over the past two decades by international consortiums. Head project lawyer for the international (France-Israel) EPC consortium of the Jerusalem Light Rail Transport project and a member of the senior management of the EPC contractor; Lead project lawyer for the Cross-Israel Highway international (Canada-Israel-UK) concession group (Israel’s first ever all-electronic toll road); Head project lawyer for the international (Spain-Israel) EPC consortium of the Ashalim Thermal Solar Power Plant; Legal advisor to the Israeli Government’s Ayalon Highway “New Fast Lanes” Project and more. Counselled numerous Mega-projects and bidding consortium in the Energy sector: Renewable Plants (thermal solar, photovoltaic and floating PV, energy storage, hydroelectric and biofuel), Conventional Plants (gas and coal); Oil and Gas; Transport Sector: Israel Railway Electrification Project; the Carmel Tunnels toll road, New Haifa Port construction project, Jerusalem, Tel-Aviv and Haifa LRT Projects; Water Treatment and Desalination Plants, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Construction (USAGE Projects), domestically and globally.
Sharon represents clients in disputes regarding projects constructed in Israel and abroad, including, litigation, arbitration, and proceedings before the US Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals (ASBCA). Sharon also acts as counsel and arbitrator in domestic and international arbitrations, including ICC arbitrations.
Sharon is a former Member of the Governing Committee of the Israeli Bar; Former Member of the General Assembly of the Israeli Bar; Former Member of the Governing Committee of the Jerusalem District Bar.
Sharon is a Founding Member of the Society of Construction Law – Israel branch.
A former California resident, Sharon is involved in promoting networking and business initiatives linking California and Nevada economic development agencies, academic institutions, and private companies with counterparts in Israel.
