Biography

Alon Tabak Aviram is a partner and Co-Head of the Hi-tech & Venture Capital Department, with particular expertise in Information Technology (IT) and complex technology transactions.

Alon leads strategic IT transformation projects for leading financial institutions and corporations, specializing in core system integration, infrastructure modernization, and digital innovation initiatives.

His comprehensive IT practice encompasses mission-critical projects including core banking system replacements, enterprise-wide digital transformation programs, and complex technology implementations. He guides clients through all project phases – from tender preparation and vendor selection, through commercial negotiations and contracting, to successful system deployment.

His unique IT expertise spans across various technology domains, including digitization and process automation, enterprise software implementations (ERP/CRM), cloud computing transitions, cybersecurity and data protection solutions, and emerging technology ventures. Alon represents both technology users and service providers, skillfully balancing technical, commercial, and legal considerations to structure successful technology transactions.

In 1994, after completing his law studies at the Hebrew University, Alon served as a clerk for the Israeli Supreme Court Justice, the Honorable Dalia Dorner. Since 1997, Alon has been with the firm, starting as associate and becoming partner in 2002. Between the years 2000-2002, Alon served as general counsel to Viryanet Ltd., an Israeli software company, which went public on the Nasdaq in 2000.
