Gal Kiviti is an associate in the litigation department and preventive regulation department at our office in Tel Aviv.
Gal works in administrative and civil litigation before the courts, the authorities and regulatory bodies. In addition, Gal provides legal advice regarding regulatory issues, with an emphasis on health, energy and consumerism, both in individual issues and in accompanying companies in the procedures for formulating the regulator’s policy and its implementation in practice.
In the health sector, Gal provides legal advice regarding various healthcare regulatory issues, such as regulation regarding economic aspects of the health sector or licensing of healthcare institutions and medical equipment. In addition, Gal has experience in representing clients before the Israeli Ministry of Health and other regulators, in issues concerning the regulation of the public and private medical system. Gal serves as a legal advisor for a major privately-owned Public hospital (Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem).
In the energy sector, Gal advises gas (natural and LPG) and fuel companies on consumer regulation issues, price setting in a regulated market, and compliance with strict regulatory rules.
Gal’s clients include leading medical institutions, centers that provide medical services or medical rights, officials in the field of medicine and healthcare, and more. Gal represents leading gas and energy companies and accompanies them throughout the complicated intricacies of regulation.
Graduating with honors, during her academic studies Gal served as an editorial member of the “Mishpatim” journal of the Faculty of Law at the Hebrew University.
During her academic studies, Gal served as a research assistant to Professor Yoav Dotan, in the field of administrative law (Israeli and comparative), and as a teaching assistant in “Legal Writing and Research”.
Gal joined our firm in 2019, after interning at the High Court of Justice (Bagatz) Department at the Office of the State Attorney, which is responsible for representing State authorities in proceedings filed in the Supreme Court in administrative and constitutional law fields.
