Itay Safrai

Itay Safrai is an associate in the real estate and urban renewal department at our Jerusalem office.

Itay specializes in the representation and management of complex real estate transactions, including providing counsel in large-scale residential, commercial and office projects, as well as providing counsel in real estate financing transactions.

Itai represents the firm’s clients – entrepreneurs, contractors and private clients – starting from the purchase and planning phase, through the development phase and ending with the establishment and registration phase; including purchase and sales agreements, lease agreements, sharing agreements and purchase groups.

As part of his studies at the Hebrew University, Itay served as a teaching assistant in the tax law course and the mathematics course for accountants (I+II).

• Represented the ISA group in the flagship project “Ir Olam” – an enormous mixed-use project, within the framework of which a new district is to be established connecting three old neighborhoods in the city: Beit HaKerem, Givat Shaul and Kiryat Moshe.
• Represented entrepreneurs in projects for the construction and marketing of thousands of housing units, both projects for marketing in the free market and price per occupant projects all over the country. As part of these projects, Itay accompanied the sale procedures of over 1,000 apartments in various projects throughout the country – Jerusalem, Beit Shemesh, Mevasaret Zion, Lod.
• Acted for and represented entrepreneurs in projects to build commercial centers, including marketing and renting commercial spaces.
• Represented private individuals and commercial entities in second-hand sale and/or rental transactions of residential and commercial spaces.
• Handled real estate transactions in lands of the Israel Land Authority, including handling permit fee assessments and real estate allocation;
• Handled appeals regarding assessments with respect to improvement levy’s and acquisitions and appeals with respect to real estate taxation.
• Provided representation in contractor agreements of large bodies such as Shaare Zedek, and more.
