Jan Abed Elmalek is an associate in the Planning and Zoning Department at our Tel Aviv office.
Jan advises on planning and construction procedures involving licensing appeals, betterment levies, and administrative law before local committees, judicial courts, and planning institutions for a variety of clients.
During her academic studies, Jan served as a teaching assistant to Prof. Tal Zarsky (Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Haifa), Prof. Alexandre (Sandy) Kedar, and the late Prof. Gad Barzilai. Additionally, she worked as a research assistant in Prof. Karin Carmit Yefet’s research.
Jan participated in the Moot Court program and successfully completed a mediation course as part of the Dispute Resolution Clinic.
She also attended an honors seminar led by retired Supreme Court President Prof. Asher Grunis and Prof. Amnon Reichman.
Jan joined our firm in 2022. She began her work at the firm as an intern and was admitted to the bar in 2024.
