Mai Gur

Biography

Mai Gur is an associate in the Energy and Infrastructure Department at our Tel Aviv office.

Mai specializes in energy projects and transactions, including oil and gas, power generation and renewable energy, as well as providing regulatory counsel in these fields. As part of her work, Mai advises leading energy companies in natural gas sale transactions to customers in Israel and abroad, in petroleum rights sale and purchase transactions and regulatory proceedings with the relevant authorities. In the renewable energy sector, Mai provides comprehensive legal support throughout all project stages – from initiation and development through to commercial operation. Her expertise includes establishing joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions of companies and projects, tender management, negotiating power purchase agreements, and advising on investments in technology companies and startups in the power generation and energy storage sectors.

During her academic studies, May served as a research assistant to Dr. David Schorr (environmental and energy law) and Prof. Tamar Kricheli-Katz (empirical research methods in law).

May began her career at the firm as an intern in 2019 and has been practicing law as a licensed attorney since 2020.
