Yaara Shchori-Ben Harush is a partner in the corporations, securities and the capital market department at our Tel Aviv office.
Yaara advises company boards, managements, audit committees, and independent committees on comprehensive issues related to the capital market, securities law and corporate law, especially in equity and debt financing, including IPOs, controlling shareholder transactions, corporate governance and board duties, dividend distribution, takeover bids, mergers and acquisitions and aspects relating to the Economic Concentration Law.
Yaara acted on some of the largest and most complex transactions in Israel in recent years, including the Isracard IPO, which was the first issue of a credit card company in Israel, and a reverse triangular merger of JOEL and Equital worth approximately ILS 3.5 billion.
Yaara advises public companies and partnerships on an ongoing basis, including client interfaces with authorities and relevant regulatory bodies, as well as providing opinions on complex issues.
Yaara’s clients include leading players in the enrgy sector and some of Israel’s largest real estate and banking corporations, laud her uncompromising proffesionalism and the excellent service that she provides.
Yaara began her work at the firm while in law school and was admitted as a practicing attorney in 2014, after articling at the Supreme Court in the Office of the honorable Justice Yitzhak Amit.
Yaara graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Hebrew University summa cum laude (valedictorian), where she served as a member of the Hebrew University Law Review, as a teaching assistant to Professor Assaf Hamdani (in the corporate law course) and as a teaching assistant to Adv. Avraham Well (mergers and acquisitions law).
Yaara graduated from New York University School of Law with an LL.M. in Corporation Law, as a Vanderbilt scholar (full-tuition merit-based scholarship).
In the last two years, Yaara has been recognized by The Legal 500 as a ‘rising star’ in the practice area of corporations, capital markets and securities.
