Yahel Porat is an associate in the Environmental Department at our Tel Aviv office.
Yahel provides legal counsel and representation to corporations and executives in environmental matters and leads the department’s class action proceedings.
She has unique expertise in class actions concerning environmental hazards and represents leading companies across all legal forums, mediation proceedings, and before governmental bodies involved in class actions — providing optimal legal solutions while safeguarding each client’s unique economic interests.
Additionally, Yahel has extensive experience in handling criminal cases in environmental law, specializing in defending the legal rights of her clients — corporations and executives — with tailored guidance in sensitive proceedings that attract wide public interest. She has represented clients in the most complex and significant criminal and class action proceedings in the environmental field in recent years and provides ongoing comprehensive legal advice to leading corporations.
Before joining the firm, Yahel served in the Military Advocate General’s Corps as an intern and later as an attorney, providing legal advice in public, criminal, and administrative law and representing clients in military courts.
Since 2016, alongside her legal work, Yahel has volunteered at a therapeutic center for victims of sexual violence with ELEM — Youth in Distress in Israel.
