Zvi Agmon is the founder and head of the firm.
With experience spanning over 40 years, Zvi is considered one of the leading and most respected litigators in Israel who has led many of the most complex and sensitive cases adjudicated in Israel. Zvi specializes in a wide range of practice areas, including commercial-corporate litigation, complex derivative claims, competition and antitrust law, administrative law and class action.
Zvi’s illustrious career is punctuated with many of the extraordinary cases that shaped the field of litigation in Israel, including representing the Shin Bet in the Line 300 case in the 1980s, Noble Energy against the Sheshinski Commission for determining gas royalties, and the Gas Partners before the High Court of Justice in the Gas Framework petition. In recent years, Zvi has acted in complex corporate litigation cases, including for the directors in the IDB dividends case, as well as for officers of Teva regarding their corporate liability. In 2019, Zvi represented Union Bank of Israel in a precedent-setting appeal against the Israel Competition Authority, until the surprise merger with Bank Mizrahi was approved.
Zvi’s clients include local and international corporations and companies from many sectors of the economy, including leading banks, credit card companies, insurance companies, telecommunications companies, oil and gas companies, infrastructure and construction companies, state-owned companies and others.
Zvi began his career as an intern, then an associate and partner of Dr. Mishael Cheshin, and worked alongside him until Dr. Cheshin was appointed a justice of the Supreme Court.
Zvi serves as a member of the executive committee of a variety of social and academic organizations and is frequently invited to lecture at professional forums in his various practices.
