Last Monday, we had the pleasure of hosting a special meetup of the HLS.IL innovation community of the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of National Security, the Israel Innovation Authority and Ofir-SouthUp Ventures.
The event was part of an open call for pilots by the Israel Innovation Authority for developing products and technological solutions addressing homeland security challenges.
Among the speakers were innovation directors from government ministries, senior representatives from the Israel Innovation Authority, the Israel Prison Service, the Fire and Rescue Authority, the Community Security Authority and the Child Online Protection Bureau.
Attorney Osnat Sarusi Firstater, head of our high-tech and technology department, presented the challenges and opportunities for startups working with security agencies.
Many thanks to the numerous entrepreneurs who attended, the fascinating speakers, and the homeland security community for the fruitful collaboration.
